Aktualna klasyfikacja kadra RJnO 2021

Hello Jan,

Thanks for your email. You’re right, it would have been helpful if the Portuguese organisers had updated Bulletin 1/2 after having agreed to organise the European Championships in connection with their World Cup round. On the other hand, the currently available Bulletin 1/2 contains all the necessary information also for the European Champs, and, according to the rules, Bulletin 3 is only due 2 months before the event.

I know that the organisers are doing their best to publish an updated bulletin as soon as possible. In my opinion we should be grateful to the Portuguese Orienteering Federation that they are willing to hold the EMTBOC and EJYMTBOC as well. If you need any specific documents to get funds for the Polish team, I’m sure the organisers will help you.

As you know the situation with COVID-19 is quite unpredictable. Anything can happen until October, we can only hope for the best and try to be flexible. Information from the IOF will certainly be communicated as soon as feasible and doable. Anyway, the regulations regarding the pandemic will probably depend on the country where the event is taking place, they are beyond the IOF’s control.

Last but not least: If you want to know about an MTBO-related matter in the future, please send your emails only to the MTBO Commission resp. me or directly to the organisers whose contact details are in IOF Eventor. It’s not necessary to bother about 20 different people! I don’t think it’s required to publish the event adviser’s email address in the bulletin or on the organiser’s website. There may be a reason for that …

 Best regards,Ursula
